SINGAPORE (July 7): SIIC Environment shares gain up 1.6% to 64.5 cents at 11.28am.
This follows the environmental engineering company's Tuesday night announcement of an additional equity stake it has taken in a Chinese company.
SIIC Environment said in a Singapore Exchange filing it has spent around $45.6 million to raise its stake in an unnamed Chinese firm based in Henan Province that has just begun operating, to 75%.
